U.S. and international regulations require that all individuals involved in shipping limited and excepted quantities of dangerous goods receive training. This course meets the training requirements of 49 CFR Sub-Sections 173.4(a) and 173.156, IMDG Code/ADR Chapters 3.4 and 3.5, and IATA DGR Sections 2.6 and 2.7 for shipping limited and excepted quantities of dangerous goods, and provides practical instruction for shipping hazardous materials safely, compliantly, and efficiently.
This course, which takes approximately two hours to complete, covers:
- Hazardous Materials General Awareness
- The advantages of using the excepted quantity and limited quantity rules
- How to determine if the quantity you are shipping qualifies as a limited or excepted quantity according to the IATA DGR, ADR, 49 CFR, and IMDG Code
- How to pack, mark, and label limited quantity and excepted quantity shipments of dangerous goods

- A record of training (certificate) upon completing the final exam, which can be emailed, printed or downloaded.
